Battery storage installations can help commercial & industrial clients buy and consume electricity in different hours, while properly utilize the tariff difference between peak hours and off-peak hours. Furthermore, if solar panels are already installed and existing at site, the battery storage system will significantly improve the solar system efficiency by storing unused solar power and output/feed to client’s loads during low solar generation (e.g. shadow or cloudy hours or even at night with no sunshine).
If EV cars are used by C&I clients, this is a very cost-effective solution while energy is stored from solar during the day, and changing electric vehicles to reduce transportation costs to a great extent.
Off-grid capability can also be offered upon clients’ requirements, perfectly suitable for those places with significant probability of power blackout.
In most scenarios the battery module would have a payback period of 6~7 years. According to the cost decrease of batteries, it is possible to see that in the future years payback period can go down to even less than 5 years.

Containerized Solution
For those commercial & industrial clients with even higher energy storage capacity demands, Newvolt Energy offers a containerized solution with even more flexibility and tailor-made functionalities.
Renewable energy generation, including solar panels and/or wind power generations, can be easily connected to such containerized ESS system with Newvolt Energy site commissioning services included to get connected.
Diesel generator, if there is one(s) at site, can also be connected to act as backup power source, under the controlling of built-in controller. Off-grid capability is also provided as built-in functions, suitable for those areas with no power supply or weak power grids.
Different control algorithms are provided and suitable for most scenarios. Newvolt Energy offers turnkey project service to clients in order to clear the concerns of contacting/accommodating different tech interfaces from different equipments and different manufactures.
